A cry to God.

Fifth Wednesday of Lent - Mar. 28th 2001

You ask me why I thought This loving Christ would hear my prayer.
I knew He died upon a cross for me, I put Him there.
I heard His dying cry:
"Father forgive!"
I saw Him drink death's cup that I might live.
My head was bowed upon my breast in shame -
in shame He called me,
And in penitance I came.
He heard my prayer, I cannot tell you how,
Nor when - nor where,
Why? - I have told you now.

Holy Souls Crusade

Praying all year round for the souls of our deceased relatives and friends, for the souls of those most in need of prayer and for those souls in purgatory who have nobody to pray for them.
